How to Set Up Bulk Discounts (Tiered Pricing)

Bulk Discounts (or Tiered Pricing) allow you to offer cheaper prices per unit when customers buy in larger quantities (e.g., "Buy 10+ items, get 10% off"). This is an excellent way to encourage larger orders.

1. Creating a New Rule

1. Navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > Dynamic Discounts.
2. Click Add New Rule.
3. Enter a Rule Name (e.g., "Wholesale T-Shirts").

2. Configuring the Discount

In the Discount Type section, select:

You can define multiple tiers. For each tier, specify the quantity range and the discount that applies.

1. Click Add Range to create a tier.
2. Min Qty: The minimum quantity start (e.g., 5).
3. Max Qty: The maximum quantity end (e.g., 10). Leave empty for "unlimited".
4. Discount Type:
   • Percentage: e.g., 10% off per item.
   • Fixed Discount: e.g., $2 off per item.

3. Filtering Logic (Who gets the deal?)

Use the Filter section to apply this rule to specific products.

• Filter Type: Specific Products or Product Categories.
• Operator: In List.
• Select: Choose the specific items (e.g., "Basic T-Shirt" or "All T-Shirts").

4. Common Examples

Scenario A: Simple Tiered Pricing

• Tier 1: Buy 5-9 items, get 5% Off.
• Tier 2: Buy 10-19 items, get 10% Off.
• Tier 3: Buy 20+ items, get 20% Off.

Scenario B: Fixed Price Wholesale

• Original Price: $50.
