How to Set Up Free Shipping
The Free Shipping rule allows you to grant free shipping to customers when they meet certain criteria, such as a minimum order amount or purchasing specific products.
1. Creating a New Rule
- Navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > Dynamic Discounts.
- Click Add New Rule.
- Enter a Rule Name (e.g., "Free Shipping over $50").
2. Configuring the Discount
In the Discount Type section, select:

Define when Free Shipping should be applied.
- Scroll to the Condition section.
- Select a condition, usually:
- Cart Subtotal: For "Spend X get Free Shipping".

3. Common Examples
Scenario A: Free Shipping on Orders Over $50
- Discount Type: Free Shipping
- Condition: Cart Subtotal >=
50 - Result: If the cart total is $50+ (after other discounts), shipping costs are removed.
Scenario B: Free Shipping when buying a specific product
- Discount Type: Free Shipping
- Condition: Cart Item Quantity (of specific product) >= 1.
- Result: Buying that product triggers free shipping for the whole order.
Note: Ensure your WooCommerce Shipping Zones are configured correctly. This rule typically
overrides costs or interacts with existing shipping methods.
